At Manoir de Plaisance, we are aware of our ecological footprint and our social obligation to people and the environment. We try to minimize our negative impact on the planet with a responsible purchasing policy and by making a positive contribution to a healthy garden rich in biodiversity. Our estate is located in the midst of beautiful nature, which we cherish and strictly guard.

A responsible sustainability policy involves a high degree of transparency. Therefore, below you will find various measures and products we use to do our part. Do you have a good idea? We are always open to suggestions for improvement!
Procurement Policy
– The Manoir runs on 100% green electricity
– The products in the breakfast are mainly bought from suppliers in the area, but are at least sourced from France
– Furniture and other products are bought as much as possible antique and in France, if that is not possible we look to obtain it elsewhere in Europe

Garden
– No toxic pesticides are used
– Equipment used in the garden is electric, except for the tractor, unfortunately this is not yet possible on electricity
– The lawn is not sprayed
– In choices regarding construction and maintenance, the aspect of biodiversity is always taken into account

Products
– 100% biodegradable washing and cleaning agents are used
– No bleaching or chlorine-based products are used
– The toiletries are made from plant-based materials, making them completely biodegradable
– The spring water comes from France and comes in cardboard cartons to reduce plastic waste and extend shelf life
– The toilet paper is recycled and contains no bleach, harsh chemicals and plastic
– All towels are made of recycled cotton
– The cushions are made from leftover foam layers from premium mattresses
– The beds and bedding meet high quality standards and labels, in addition, it is produced in Europe
